That sounds really exciting!, some of us are still dreaming with a 128K Lynx recreation...

What do you mean by a "128K Lynx recreation"? Do you have a 128K Lynx already?

Years ago there was some interest about trying to create a new Lynx 128K PCB. Frank's site mentioned this project and some of us let our imagination fly too much...

GERBER files for Lynx 48K PCB are available, but not available for Lynx 128K.

This is the Frank's 128K project page: Building a 128K; but as JohnK mentioned, it must be one of the unpopulated PCBs he has. It would be great to have it routed, compared with schematics (IIRC 128K schematics are available) and documented

Well... Atari Lynx have 64 Kb and better graphics but less Keys and no text adventures for example....

That's Russell's Github page. Many of those scans I did over a decade ago, including the 128Ks. I now have higher quality blueprints which I'll endeavour to scan and release.

Pity you don't have one. The Camputers Lynx is a great computer, but like a real lynx, very dificult to catch.

Another Lynx 48 owner here, but without PSU and too lazy to build one, so dunno yet if it's working..
Very strange computer this one, apart of rare... I have played a little with the nice PALE emulator, but all I realized is that this thing is slooooowwww... Anyway I like it, as I know a little of ZX81 (painfully slow sometimes) and I'm also a Spectrum veteran, and the Lynx gaming software reminds me a lot of Spectrum, at least as far as I've seen it up to now...

The classic "how to get the most of your...." perfectly applies here, the Lynx is slow as is; but with the right programming it could feel a lot faster. Check games like JSW, it has a lot of moving sprites using the three color planes and despite this, it's perfectly playable or the same Scorpion ROM, makes the Lynx interface a lot more friendly.
This subject deserves a new thread, someday...

Having said that, you must to build or get a PSU for your Lynx!. With a picoPSU is really easy to build a powerful replacement.

I see and I believe you, it's just that I don't know this particular machine as well as I know others (in fact I have almost ZERO using experience of the Lynx..) But you're right, things like this are to be discussed in another thread, let's not hijack the welcoming of JohnK...
As for the PSU, I have here everything needed to build one out of an ATX pc PSU, but can't get myself to start it... It''s that damn COVID thing situation, so much free time but no concentration to start such a simple project...
